HI, I'M RACHEL

Your performance nutrition expert, who actually gets what it's like to compete.

I grew up on a dairy farm in southwest Minnesota — early mornings, hard work, and real food. That foundation sparked a lifelong love for nutrition and what it means to truly fuel your body well.

After working with the Minnesota Vikings and spending four years as the Head Football Dietitian at the University of Minnesota, I've seen firsthand what separates athletes who feel good from athletes who feel great. It's almost always nutrition.

Now I work one-on-one with college-aged and older athletes to build fueling systems that actually fit their real life — not some perfect ideal version of it.

  • Meet Athletes Where They Are

    Every athlete is starting from a different place. I take time to understand current habits, training demands, and goals before making changes. Progress works best when it’s built on your real life — not an ideal version of it.

  • Build Realistic, Sustainable Habits

    Quick fixes don’t build performance. I focus on habits that can be repeated consistently during school seasons, off-seasons, travel, and competition. Sustainable fueling creates long-term results.

  • Keep Nutrition Simple

    Performance nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated. Clear structure, balanced meals, and consistent timing go further than extreme strategies or rigid rules.

  • Fuel for Performance - Not Perfection

    Nutrition should support training, recovery, growth, and confidence. My goal is to help athletes fuel in a way that enhances performance while maintaining a healthy relationship with food.

I combine experience at the collegiate and professional level with practical, real-life application for growing and competitive athletes.

I understand the demands of high-level performance - but I also understand busy school schedules, family life, and the realities of training year-round.
