Who I Am

Hi, I’m Rachel - a sports dietitian who believes athletes don’t need perfect nutrition, they need consistent nutrition.

I work with athletes who want more energy, better performance, and confidence around food - without overthinking every meal or feeling like they’re constantly getting it wrong. Nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective, and my goal is to help athletes build habits that actually stick.

I primarily work with high school and competitive athletes who are training hard, managing busy schedules, and want to take their performance to the next level — whether that’s making varsity, preparing for college athletics, or simply feeling stronger and more fueled in their sport. I also work closely with parents to take the stress out of fueling at home and help them feel confident they’re supporting their athlete well.

Before starting my private practice, I spent several years working in collegiate and professional sports. I served as the Head Sports Dietitian for the University of Minnesota football team and previously worked with the Minnesota Vikings. I’m a Registered Dietitian, Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), and ISAK Level 1 certified.

My approach to nutrition is simple, realistic, and athlete-centered. I don’t believe in cutting out food groups, obsessing over numbers, or only fueling well on game days. Instead, I focus on consistency, fueling for training and recovery, and helping athletes understand why nutrition matters - so they can carry these habits with them long-term. Food is fuel, but it should also support confidence, enjoyment, and performance both now and in the future.

Outside of work, I’m a competitive powerlifter, dog mom, and lifelong farm kid who learned early where food comes from and the value of showing up and putting in the work. I bring both personal athletic experience and professional expertise into my coaching because I understand firsthand what it’s like to train hard and want to do things the right way.

If you’re looking for personalized, performance-focused nutrition support for yourself or your athlete, I’d love to help.
